Duane Dinkel
Chief Technical Officer
Duane is the Co-Founder and former CEO of OpTek’s optical fiber manufacturing business headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina. From a Chemical Engineering and Materials background, Duane has occupied senior roles in companies large and small, including 3M and AFL. Having authored or co-authored ½ dozen patents related to optical packaging, he is an acknowledged expert in optical fibers and converting fiber into valuable end-product for medical, military, energy and datacoms applications. Duane has strategically located his family in a spot that allows year-round access to the golf course.
